The Platform 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Tom Ellen Empire Magazine Despite the compelling high concept — and some epic action set-pieces — there’s not quite enough meat on the bones of this dystopian follow-up to make it truly worthy of its predecessor.  Rated: 2/5 Oct 8, 2024 Full Review The Platform 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Jesse Hassenger Guardian Gaztelu-Urrutia seems to be regarding his own concept from level 0, treating it as a frantic all-you-can-eat buffet that may be snatched away at any moment. Rated: 2/5 Oct 4, 2024 Full Review The Platform 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Matt Donato AV Club The allegorical simplicity of Netflix’s The Platform makes it brilliant—a sequel seems antithetical. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 4, 2024 Full Review The Platform 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) John O'Brien Inverse The Platform 2 doesn’t tell us anything we don’t already know, and it lacks the shock factor that made the original’s sledgehammer approach easier to digest. Oct 14, 2024 Full Review The Platform 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Rohan Naahar The Indian Express If The Platform presented a Darwinian allegory, The Platform 2 is a metaphor for organised religion. It’s as if the unlikely Netflix franchise is tracing the very evolution of human existence. What next; the dark ages? Oct 12, 2024 Full Review The Platform 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) M.N. Miller Geek Vibes Nation This "sidequel" is more of an exercise in the art of the money grab than work of storytelling conviction. Rated: 3/10 Oct 11, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Eye C Si la primera es una crítica al injusto capitalismo, está ahora se va contra el comunismo dictatorial y su extremismo, al final todo parece indicar que cuando no hay ley o religión de por medio, el ser humano no puede vivir en comunidad. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/15/24 Full Review Alfredo R They destroy the first one, horrible, boring, no sense, don't lost your time watching this boring movie and no sense Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/15/24 Full Review Azrah P Ignore everyone else— this movie is an amazing follow-up to the original. I literally made an account just to say this. Everyone who says otherwise is allergic to critical thinking and metaphors, because this movie did nothing but expand upon the original in a way that enriched the narrative instead of diminishing it. The original can absolutely stand on its own, but this one added another layer of complexity to the metaphor. Again, it wasn’t necessary, but it’s a valuable criticism of the side that the original film did not show. I would highly recommend it, especially if you’re a big fan of psychological films. The ending might throw you for a bit of a loop, but if you take a bit of time to think about it, it really brings everything together. I could write a whole APA style essay on this film, but I’ll stop here. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/15/24 Full Review Dobrin F Even tho the first movie was a type of movie that could be taken as art depicting the image of capitalism, this second follow up it's just the same thing on repeat. As an average consumer and not a critic level,i just enjoy good movies and care less about the message, but this movie i can't recommend it even for this,is literally just The Platform 1 with different characters,if you watched the first movie and liked the plot, don't watch this because it's more annoying than anything as a message it represents nothing new and just represent the same thing as the first movie but even worse and as a movie plot,well...u just watched an entire second movie to discover nothing new, same questions, same cliff-hangers with a more than useless twist in the end. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/14/24 Full Review Jorge G The Story didn’t get my attention this time. I spaced out a few times and turned off the Tv after that. I will not try to watch it again! Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/14/24 Full Review Kimberley R Way better than the first one. This one actually some what explains the reason for why the people are their and goes more in detail about the characters themselves.
